Andrew Alfano

Andrew Alfano enjoyed an impressive 16-year career with Starbucks Coffee Company. Joining in the late 90’s, he worked his way from District Manager up to Senior Vice President, U.S. Business where we was ultimately accountable for over $3.5B in revenue across company operated and licensed stores.
He helped architect the company’s strategic growth in some of the higher profile, complex urban markets, specifically Starbucks Flagship market of New York. During this time, these markets saw record growth in sales and profits. Andrew was also one of the key leaders that helped lead the US Business out of the company's downturn in 2008. As a member of the Executive Steering Committee, he worked cross-functionally with other senior leaders on the company's strategic plan, led a team of Regional Vice Presidents, all while working with key executives and external agencies weighing in on elements of the brand.
Following his run at Starbucks, he served as President/COO of The Learning Experience, where they successfully exited the majority partner nearly two years early at an impressive multiple. Joining in 2015, he leveraged existing strengths of the brand to help fuel its growth and mature the business. During his time, the company saw record revenue and EBITDA growth, doubled annual store openings, as well as he led their expansion into the UK Market.
